We use such cookies so that the website works effectively and without the need to seek your consent.

The following technical or functional cookies originate from third parties, however, and will only be used with your consent:

Google Analytics: Our website makes use of Google Analytics, a web analysis service made by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, referred to below as ‘Google’. Google Analytics also uses cookies. The data generated by these cookies is forwarded to Google in the United States and stored there. Firstly, however, your IP address will be anonymized by replacing the last eight symbols with a ‘0’ or other sign.

Google uses this data on behalf of the website operator to assess your use of the website, to compile reports of the website activity, and to supply other services relating to the website activity and internet use. If necessary, Google will forward this data to third parties insofar as this is required by law or such third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

Google itself indicates that your IP address will not be combined with other data from Google. You can prevent the placing of these cookies on your computer by changing your browser settings. However, please note that in such a case you will not be able to utilize all the functionalities of our online store.

In addition, Google offers the most commonly-used browsers an option to exclude cookies. This means that you retain control over what data is collated and processed by Google. By activating this option, no information concerning your website visit is forwarded to Google Analytics. However, this does not impede the transfer where necessary of information concerning the use of web analysis services to us, or to other parties by us.

For further information from Google about this de-activation option and its activation click on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=nl.

If you interact with the plugins by, for example, using the relevant button, then the related information will also be directly forwarded to that provider’s server, where it will be stored. This information will also be published on your Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Instagram, and/or YouTube account and shown there to your contacts.

The purpose and extent of the generated data and the further processing and use of the data by the providers, as well as your rights and setting options to protect your privacy in this regard, can be found in the providers’ respective privacy statements.

Advertising cookies

These cookies enable automated decisions to be taken with regard to advertising, such as which advertisements will be shown where, and to whom. This can be done on the basis of a profile of your preferences, as derived from your visits to our website and other websites where advertising cookies are used.

Google AdWords: We also use the Google advertising tool ‘Google AdWords’ in order to promote our online store. For this purpose, we use Google’s web analysis service ‘Conversion Tracking’ in our  online store. If you reach our online store via a Google advertisement a cookie will be placed on your device. Such ‘conversion cookies’ will remain for 30 days; they are not used to identify you personally. If you visit particular pages of our online store whilst the cookie is still in place, then we and Google can see that as a user you have clicked on one of our advertisements placed with Google and thereby been directed to our website.

The purpose behind the information received via conversion cookies is to enable Google to collate statistics about visitors to our online store. From these statistics we can find out the total number of users who have clicked on our advertisements and also which pages of our online store the relevant user has then clicked on. However, neither we nor any other advertisers obtain any information via Google AdWords that would enable users to be personally identified.

You can prevent the storing of conversion cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly, by excluding the automatic placing of cookies, or by blocking cookies that originate only from the domain name ‘googleadservices.com’.

In this regard, Google’s privacy statement can be found via the following link: https://services.google.com/sitestats/nl.html.

Accepting or excluding cookies

Most web browsers automatically accept cookies. However, you can also adjust your browser settings if there is certain information you prefer not to send, since cookies are stored on your device and forwarded to our website. This means that as user you have full control over the use of cookies. By changing the settings on your web browser, you can deactivate or restrict the transfer of cookies. In addition, cookies that have already been placed can always be deleted via a web browser or via other software programs. You should be aware, however, that if you deactivate the placing of cookies it is possible that not all the functions of our online store can be fully used.
